How To Make Cake Flour

If your recipe is calling for cake flour and you do not have any in your kitchen or you can't find any cake flour at the supermarket, don't worry you can make cake flour at home. This simple guide will show you how to make your own cake flour using just all-purpose flour and cornstarch, to make sure your baked goods turn out light and fluffy every time.

Accurate Measuring: Use a knife to level off the measuring cup when measuring both your flour and cornstarch to ensure accuracy and prevent the cake flour from becoming too dense.

Double Sifting: Don't skip the double-sifting step, as it is crucial for achieving the fine, airy texture that cake flour is known for.

Airtight Storage: Keep the homemade cake flour in an airtight container to prevent it from absorbing moisture and odours from the air, which could affect your baking results.
